We have received a very good response from teens and adults who are secretly self harming. Teen cutting and adult self injury is a worldwide problem that is not getting the attention it deserves.
Most health professionals are not making a big enough cry about this urgent problem. We get so many emails from people who say they did not know this even happens. Parents do not know that their kids are doing this and adults cutters hide it as well. We will not stop shouting out this problem until people wake up. For the cutters there is a cure, we know why you cut even if your parents, doctors or even you yourself do not know why you cut. Do not feel guilty it is not your fault.

I cut myself for the rush! and rip out my toe nails! it makes me feel.

When you are balanced and filled you will automatically “feel”…. The need to feel is because of the numbness and emptiness that affects many people who cut.
This pain,stress and numbness can be healed. Cutting is a “reaction” to an underlying problem..it is not a first cause action. Be very careful this problem grows into a serious addiction and must be healed fast

The knowledge of freedom, understanding of forgiveness the amazement that life gives you, but the slice of metal, oh the cut of steel has no feeling but the rush is unreal. no drug can compare. to all those that do the deed all i can say is would you rather loose your life through a drug!? or get the hit from a blade.

I post your comments because it is what you truly believe. The problem is that you are giving yourself only 2 choices drugs or cutting. This is where you are missing the mark. Science and Faith have both shown that cutting and self harm can be defeated and it has been!
Faith and science work together. Faith tells us the truth and Science confirms it much later. The blade is a horrible choice and leaves deeper damage later that goes beyond the scars.
