GREEED CREATES POVERTY
The todays Yahoo news story above highlights the root cause of poverty… greed. The problem is that greed slowly affects everyone. Everytime you rob from one you are robbing from yourself. The Wall Street crisis is now worldwide. The whole world economy is in uncertainty. In todays Yahoo news it was reported that 31 million Americans used food stamps in September. This is an incredible number, the largest in the USA ever! That is 1 out of every 10 Americans! The problem on Wall Street is a lesson in greed.
Simply we are not a sharing people looking out for the benefit of the whole. When the bottom line is selfish profit it upsets a delicate balance. Since 9/11 Americans have been complaining about a lack of jobs and a bad economy, the problem is until those on the top were affected the cries of the average man and woman was ignored. The Spiritual person knows that there is a balance in the universe and the greedy eventually bring down everyone included themselves. This is worth repeating “The greedy bring all down with them”
