This site is dedicated to addressing the fasting growing illness in the United States and for that fact most of the western world. The illness that is exploding in numbers is depression. I am not speaking of only clinical depression but also those who have loss the joy in everyday life, the average man or woman. I firmly believe and have seen in my own life that there is a spiritual answer to this world problems. Not just the worlds problems on a whole but an answer to your daily problems that seems no one realy cares about.
Unfortunately there is an increased anxiety in many people in the United States and the world due to the failing economy,but what we must not forget is that statistics show that anxiety and sadness have been increase yearly in the western world,this is not something that has just started with the failing economy,it has been a growing trend for many years.
Yahoo news reports today on the growing anxiety over the presidential election in the Unites States,Yahoo interviews a woman who admits she can not sleep at night due to constantly wondering if Obama is going to win or lose. Others in the article state that if McCain loses the depression they would face would be unbelivable. A woman admits to being glued to the internet watching if the polls favor her political pick or not. We are living in a fast paced, anxiety filled, stressful world, the absent of a concrete spiritual life is part of the problem. We are way out of balance as a people and are suffering because of this. This site will address Spiritual awareness in a world moving deeper into depression and anxiety.
